The LCC Men's Bocce League consists of up to 7 four person teams
of members of the Lexington Country Club.
The sign up period is from October 15
to November 15 and teams are formed the first week in December. Team members, who have
arrived, practice or play preseason games in December, and then teams play a
set of scheduled league matches in January and February with a play-off tournament
in March.
Team players or substitutes in league play must be Lexington Country Club members
(or renters with membership transferred to them) and in residence here the
months of January, February, and March.
Except for emergencies, team players are expected to
play all scheduled games. A league fee (currently $10.00) is charged to
cover incidental expenses, special events, and awards. Team players in one
league may be called to substitute, if available, in another league that they do
not play in.
The LCC Men's Bocce League
plays on Wednesday mornings at 9:30 am.
Team players from the previous year have first priority to be placed on a team;
Temporary Inactive players from the previous year have second priority; and new
players are initially placed on the waiting list. |
